This picture book is a story of celebration and culture. Fang Fang was born in China, but is now Australian. Her mother asks her to invite her friend, Lisa, to their Chinese New Year celebrations. Fang Fang worries that Lisa may not enjoy herself or like the celebrations. Lisa samples all the different foods, learns to use chopsticks, and watches the parade and fireworks. 'That was fantastic,' says Lisa.
