This is a simple heart-warming story of resilience when a family is forced to find a new home. The Fairweather family is large and happy. One evening they are devastated when told their house is to be demolished to make way for a factory. The Fairweathers construct a platform on wheels, gather their friends and together move their house on a crane to the pier where it is safely moored. They name their house ‘Spirit of Hope’ and continue their happy family life in this picture book.
