What do you call your Grandpa?
A colourful and inclusive book that should be in every early childhood setting, ‘What Do You Call Your Grandpa?’ (along with ‘What Do You Call Your Grandma?’) will be popular with children who will enjoy telling stories about their own grandpa. Each colourful double page spread shows a child enjoying an activity with her/his Grandpa or whatever the name is in that particular language. Four lines of rhyming couplets end with the chosen name which includes Babu (Swahili), Koro (Maori), Belo (South American Spanish) and Kaku (Gurindji). The last page includes a glossary of all the different names and their country of origin.
