This vibrant colourful alphabet book features animals native to the rainforests of Far North Queensland. . Very young children are not only introduced to the alphabet in a bright and engaging way, but to unique Australian animals some found only in the rainforests, and also to the beauty of Indigenous art. The simple text which simply names each animal, is accompanied by striking hand-coloured linoprints and acrylic paintings

Celebrated artist Warren Brim was born in Cairns and grew up in the rainforest village of Kuranda. He is descended from the Djabugay people of Far North Queensland. His art is inspired by the Dreaming stories told by his family.
