Zeny Giles writes from experience growing up as a first-generation Greek-Australian. She is one of the first women of Greek descent to write about the Greek-Australian migrant experience as well as the lived experiences of her parents’ generation. The family was among the first major wave of migrants coming from Greece to Australia.
