A colourful and inclusive book that should be in every early childhood setting, ‘What Do You Call Your Grandma?’ (along with ‘What Do You Call Your Grandpa?’) will be popular with children who will enjoy telling stories about their own grandma. Each colourful double page spread shows a child enjoying an activity with her/his Grandma or whatever the name is in that particular language. Four lines of rhyming couplets end with the chosen name which includes MeeMaw (Southern US), Nonna (Italy), Makhulu (Xhosa) and Jaja (Warlpiri). The last page includes a glossary of all the different names and their country of origin.
