Ari has a gift for playing the violin, learned from his grandfather. He and his mother have moved from Germany to Australia. Ari has a lot to deal with as his father died when he was three and he struggles to accept his stepfather. Now he is living in a different new place and misses his beloved grandfather. When his grandfather dies, Ari is devastated. His family and music enable him to adjust and find his place.
