Olive Alexandropoulos is in her last year of secondary school and enjoying it with her friend Kerry. She has an underlying problem due to sexual abuse trauma in her childhood, which she has forgotten. This makes her deeply insecure. Her parents hope to help by sending her to Greece to be with her relatives, where she resolves her insecurity and feels pride in both her Australian and Greek culture.
