Based on true events during the Holocaust, this is a story of 11-year-old Miri who is part of a happy family living in Warsaw until the Germans arrive. Then she and her Jewish family are forced to move into a ghetto. The story deals with death, family separation and persecution. It is a moving recreation of times of great anguish and pain.
