Base, Graeme

Graham Base is a renowned author and illustrator of Australian children’s picture books.  His work The Sign of the Seahorse has been adapted as an opera while an exhibition based on The Water Hole was undertaken by the National Museum of Australia.   He is best known for his second book, Animalia published in 1986, and third book The Eleventh Hour which was released in 1989. The Centre has the complete holdings of The Worst Band in the Universe.

Graeme Base uses technology extensively and has created an iPhone and iPad app based on Animalia.
